CAPITOL DAY

On March 1, 2010 the Iowa State Reserve Law Officers Association held a “Capitol Day” at the State Capitol in Des Moines.  The event was held from 1:00-4:00 PM and allowed many of the board members to visit with many of the state representatives and state senators.

Tables were set up to display various items.  Board members were able to tell about the association and tell what reserves peace officers do for the various law enforcement agencies that they are affiliated with.

The board members also spent time visiting with various legislators concerning the legislative bills that were the concern of the ISRLOA.
