Dan Brandt was born in Waterloo, grew up in Buckingham, Iowa,
graduated from Traer-Clutier High School and attended the University of Northern
Iowa. He also served with the 404th Signal Company, United States Army
Reserve based in Waterloo, Iowa and retired as a supervisor at Fisher Controls
in Marshalltown.
He has been a reserve officer with the Marshalltown Police Department for 40 years and is an incorporator of the ISRLOA. Dan is also a Red Cross CPR/FA/AED instructor. He and his wife, Donna, have one child.
